It’s another not-so-big week for new theatrical home video releases, but there are a few oddities, misfires and movies that barely saw the dark of a cineplex. New catalog titles hitting Blu-ray for the first time show more promise with a couple of Kubrick titles and three — yes, three — “Ernest” movies (I know you’re all just dying to get your hands on those). Plus a TV movie from the 70s sees some home video love as a remake is about to hit theaters. Some interesting DVD collections round out a rather lackluster week, but you still might find something cool below.
