CliqueClack has partnered with Sony Pictures and Allied Integrated Marketing to offer readers in the Baltimore, DC and Virginia Beach areas an opportunity to attend an advance screening of the new film The Monuments Men starring George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban, Hugh Bonneville and Cate Blanchett.

Based on the true story of the greatest treasure hunt in history, The Monuments Men is an action drama focusing on seven over-the-hill, out-of-shape museum directors, artists, architects, curators, and art historians who went to the front lines of WWII to rescue the world’s artistic masterpieces from Nazi thieves and return them to their rightful owners. With the art hidden behind enemy lines, how could these guys hope to succeed? But as the Monuments Men found themselves in a race against time to avoid the destruction of 1000 years of culture, they would risk their lives to protect and defend mankind’s greatest achievements.

The screenings will take place on Wednesday, February 5 at 7:00 PM at the following locations:

  • Cinemark Egyptian 24, 7000 Arundel Mills Circle, Hanover, MD
  • Regal Gallery Place Stadium 14, 701 Seventh St. N.W., Washington, DC
  • AMC Lynnhaven 18, 1001 Lynnhaven Mall Loop, Virginia Beach, VA

A very limited number of passes are available for each location and are available on a first come, first served basic. To be eligible to win passes, please leave a comment on this post with one of the following locations: HANOVER, DC or VIRGINIA BEACH. Winners will receive two Admit One Admit 2 pass to the screening. You must enter your correct email address in the appropriate box. Check for spelling errors before sending! One comment per person, please. CliqueClack reserves the right to discard any duplicate comments or those that appear to be duplicates. The offer will be open as long as passes are available and could end at any time.

Please note that passes do not guarantee seats at the screening. Seating is first come, first served so plan to arrive early. CliqueClack has no control over the number of passes distributed, and is not responsible for seating at the theater.

DC readers: There will be a special happy hour Tuesday, February 4th at Veritas Wine Bar in the Dupont Circle area from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. If you weren’t able to get passes here, there will be more passes and movie swag (T-shirts, posters) given out to those in attendance until they run out.

The movie will open nationwide on February 7.
