- A family with 13 children, 8 adopted, and the wife suffering from a tissue disease get the Pennington upgrade on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. On CBS, the teams head to Kazakhstan where they’ll face off against 30,000 chickens on The Amazing Race.
- The story of Ruby continues on Style Network with her second episode. On Showtime’s Brotherhood, a fire that leaves a bunch of Latino squatters and one firefighter dead, Tommy is left to deal with the fallout.
- The sporting world takes you from the Cowboys at the Redskins on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, at quarter past the hour, and HBO’s De La Hoya/Pacquiao 24/7, counting down to their December 6th bout.
- After more than 20 years on the air, MTV says goodbye with a special two-and-a-half hour TRL Finale. Tapped for the celebration are performers Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Beyonce, 50 Cent, Fall Out Boy and Backstreet Boys. Also expected to appear are Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Kid Rock, Christina Aguilera, JC Chasez, Travis Barker, Taylor Swift, Hilary Duff, Fred Durst and Korn’s Jonathan Davis. Oh and probably some VJs and some other surprises. And maybe a video?
- FOX’s “Animation Domination” is all new this week. The Simpsons kick things off with Lisa entering a crossword puzzle tournament. Then Peggy, Minh and Dale tackle the stock market so Peggy can save up for a flatscreen TV on King of the Hill.

- FOX continues with Peter getting sent back to the third grade by Carrie Fisher on Family Guy. Hayley falls for Stan’s CIA body double, which brings to mind all sorts of “daddy issues” on American Dad.
- It’s a fire on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, while it’s murder on Cold Case. The 1989 murder of a Russian opera prodigy who defected to the US before the Berlin wall came down to be more specific.
- Bill must fulfill the tribunal’s sentence on HBO’s True Blood. When Dexter starts to teach Miguel “the Code,” there are some unexpected side effects on Showtime. Sundance is all new with Pulling.
- Reality options include History’s Cities of the Undead, Biography’s Watching the Detectives, and VH1’s Rock of Love Girls: Charm School.

- Vince struggles with a contradictory director on HBO’s Entourage. This is followed by Ja’mie’s first full day at Summer Heights High.

- You can delve into Sunday reality hour by flipping rapidly between Food Network’s The Chef Jeff Project, Biography’s Female Forces, Discovery’s Storm Chasers, We’s My Fair Wedding, VH1’s The Pick-Up Artist, and E!’s The Girls Next Door. TLC explores the Forbidden Love: Polygamy and Comedy Central offers up Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special. Then, blend the storylines all together and see what you get. Fun, huh?
- Tony perhaps finds understanding in someone completely new on BBC America’s Skins. Dave Foley guests on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, where Kevin lashes out in frustration and takes something from Nora.
- CBS’s The Unit brings part two of the team’s attempts to rescue Jonas’ daughter from her Syrian captors.

- Later, on HBO, Tim is accused of being anti-baby and fails to help the mail guy on The Life & TImes of Tim.
- Sci Fi brings Into the Unknown With George Noory, each week exploring another phenomenon of the (perhaps) supernatural. Tonight’s premiere looks at reincarnation.
