We last saw Denna in “Bloodline” after Kahlan (on Richard’s orders) almost beat her to death. Although the writers have pretty much thrown Goodkind’s books out the window with this story, I actually like their decision to keep Denna alive. The fans simply love the Mord-Sith, and who would say no to an episode like tonight’s, which featured both Cara and Denna? The cast was smoldering hot.
All right, I have to ask this question, because we finally got to see Denna and Cara go head-to-head tonight. Which of the two is more awesome? You can define “awesome” any way you like — hot, kick-ass, whatever — but which of the two would you rank higher? I love Cara. She’s deadly, witty, sardonic, and something of a lone wolf, but also naive. That said, I won’t lie — Denna is my favorite Mord-Sith. Her history with Richard and her sheer badness have made an indelible impression. To me, she will always be The Mord-Sith, the one who epitomizes the red leather. (Weigh in by taking the poll below.)
Another character returned tonight. That is, of course, Dennee, Kahlan’s little sister. (Hey … Denna and Dennee have nearly the same name. Haha.) I think the pieces of the story fit together nicely, but once again, Kahlan is no longer the last Confessor. I’ve given up any expectations about the show staying true to the books. Now, I’m just about enjoying the characters and the great production values.
Darken Rahl spent some quality family time with Richard in this episode. I know we’ve discussed the nature of the Underworld before, but this episode once again seems to suggest that everyone suffers in the Underworld — good and evil alike. Why else does Richard end up there in the vengeful hands of Rahl?

i can’t choose between Denna & Cara. although i love Denna, Cara has grown on me & they’re both so hot!
btw, i like both Cara & Denna when they’re hair is not done up in the braid. Cara, especially in the season finale, just didn’t look good with the braid. actually, she kind of looks completely different than the season finale. Denna is just hot no matter what, but especially when her hair is down.
oh yeah, the white leather was a nice call back to the books. the white agiel though? lame!
I can’t really choose between Cara and Denna.
I enjoyed this episode as I have enjoyed every Legend of the Seeker episode thus far. However, I didn’t like the decision to have Kahlan’s sister permanently resurrected in another women’s body. I found that rather disturbing. And the fact that Dennee is now going to raise the woman’s child makes it even more disturbing. I can’t wait until they tell the kid that mommy isn’t mommy anymore! All well, hopefully the new Dennee will have a very small role from here on. In fact, I would rather see them have her killed off.
Cara For SURE!!! She can be cruel, but has shown how she felt from time to time , and that’s what makes me love her . Denna is just a simple Mord-Sith who wants to have her way with Richard. Its not a battle CARA IS MORE AWESOME MORD-SITH . Period .
Cara,no contest. And I say this as a straight women, she is major hot and rocking the leather look. Denna’s just a bitch.
LOL – all the Mord-Sith are bitches. I think the actress who plays Denna is more beautiful (particularly when her hair is down; it’s only fair to compare them when her hair is not braided because Cara’s hair is always down ever since her braid was cut off). However, I definitely think Cara is the better warrior.

In season1 i tot denna was cool,in luv wit richard but in season2 despite richard spare her life,she killed him by using his body for general’s soul.wat a betrayer.but luk at cara,wen darken rahl had almost surrender,she gav a plan of interupting richard joinin d boxes of orden causin magical explosion wit agiel and confession sendin dem 58yrs to d future.since den afta their plannin of kil darken rahl,she became a loyal servant to her new lord rahl,richard rahl,joinin durin wars against d’harans and baneling,rescueing kahlan twice from being killed being d last confessor,rescueing d new seeker leo from a sista of dark in disgiuse of light,killin denna afta taking zedd as captive and ressurecting her lord richard rahl wit d breath of life afta being kill by denna to join d underworld for some couple of time.She’s the best,we saw her moves on d warfront.In Hunger she dies and came back as a baneling but zedd finds her cure.Also it is like denna’s spirit came back and help richard for his quest and help to remove the Mark on his chest puttin it on her,this makes d keeper of d undaworld to reject her and group her to the light.Both Mord sith play their role well,but the best of cara entices me.
Is this really a question? Well, looking at the poll result, no, it’s not. Cara is more awesome, no doubt about that. :) And I think Tabrett is more beautiful than Jessica too.
Indeed, I think Cara. In this woman more expression, charisma and charm. But I was very sorry for Denna, when she died, because she played well. Kara is the closest person to me in the book, Tabrett Bethell plays perfectly, even though she did not read books (as she said in an interview).
