Strange things are afoot down at the DVD shop. Battlestar Galactica is being released, again. Similarly, the second season of Ally McBeal is now out, even though the complete series collection has been available since last October. Those shenanigans are beside the point though, because the week also brings two great shows to store shelves. They’re so good that I can’t pick a winner, so it’s a dual pick of the week. First, if you don’t have Starz, you must check out Party Down, the best new comedy of last season. And if you didn’t catch it the first time around, The Unusuals had a fun new take on the tired old cop show formula. It’s destined for a spot next to Keen Eddie on my DVD shelf.
