Finally the TV summer comes to a close. Next week we will have new fall network shows to talk about! That means a whole lot more scripted programming numbers, and a whole lot less ‘Shaq Vs.’
The networks have all but shut down as we wait for the new fall season to kick off. Over on cable, have you noticed what ‘The Glades’ has been doing? It’s not really getting the press, but the numbers are there for A&E to call this one a success.

Another slow week on the networks as the summer season starts to wind down. The big excitement is the return of the NFL, which always brings the numbers. Over on cable, the crime fighting girls continue their impressive debut seasons.
On the networks, the big show for last week was ‘The Bachelorette’. You can bet on seeing another run next summer. Over on cable, did you see the new ‘iCarly’? Lots of other people did.

It looks like Ivey isn’t alone in picking ‘Covert Affairs’ as the best show of the summer. In its second episode, the ratings were up, landing it well ahead of ‘White Collar.’ ‘Rizzoli & Isles’ had a pretty good second week as well.
