Despite the fact that this was a clip show, I did find myself intrigued by Keisha Castle-Hughes’ character Maia and the question that was never answered: Is she or is she not the Creator?
I loved Michael Nouri’s performance as Kahlan’s father, even though the writers’ reinvented Kahlan’s history. I also like the fact that Sister Nicci’s role continues to expand.

Cara impersonates a princess, Zedd dresses in drag, and Richard becomes a blond (as does Sister Nicci). Did you find this episode as hilarious as I did?
In addition to fun guest roles, ‘Hunger’ brings Zedd, Cara, and Darken Rahl to the foreground. It also highlights the difference between banelings in the TV series and banelings in the books.
Did you enjoy Bridget Regan’s portrayal of two very different versions of Kahlan? I did.
Kahlan’s vision from last week’s episode revealed that she would soon be the last confessor. “Touched” followed up on that story line and introduces Annabelle, a “princess in a tower,” who doesn’t know anything about her powers until she starts confessing people left and right, starting with Flynn.
