When I read the premise for the Starz series Head Case, it reminded me of Dr. Katz or maybe a little bit of In Treatment. The show stars comedian Alexandra Wentworth as a psychiatrist who treats celebrities. Head Case‘s second season premieres this Friday, the 20th. The show’s first season is now available on DVD, and we’re giving away ten copies — five to random commenters below, five to commenters below who are also joined into our daily email list (seriously, the emails are very short and list what’s new on TV each day, along with a maximum of three links to past day’s posts on this site).

Isn’t this actually the 2nd season. 2 years ago they aired this show with 10-15 min. epis. Then last year they went up to 20-25 min. epis and paired it with Hollywood Residential. Maybe they consider all of them season 1. I’ve seen them all and they are pretty good. It’s like Curb Your Enthusiasm with a lot of ad-libbing. I think there may be some boobs, I can’t remember it’s been so long since I last watched it.
