*sigh*
Another gimmicky regurgitation doomed to fail.
Can we tar and feather Vince Vaughn right now in anticipation of his latest idea, a Brady Bunch reboot? Huh? Can we … please, please, please, Marsha, Marsha, Marsha … ???
Here’s a rehash Hollywood has maybe’d
Bringing in writers who’ll come up with several pearls
Hoping for ratings gold, some such or other
Let’s see what “gem” unfurls
Yet another disaster, I’m possibly afraidy
Convoluted with situations of its own
Four, eight, maybe twelve men, sitting in chairs of leather
The ideas all their own.
‘Til the one day when the premiere got green lighted for the fellows
With Nielsen ratings ready to throw a big gut punch
That this ‘boot would somehow fail to garner
Ratings points and back slaps at a celebratory 3 martini lunch
The Brady (reboot) Bunch
The Brady (reboot) Bunch
That’s the way of the upcoming Brady (reboot) Bunch
Ok, I am just curious, has Hollywood run out of ideas?

Not in the least, Deb … as is evidence from this little gem.
But the ones they do have are bad ones.
Yes I agree, ALL reboots are HORRIBLE ideas. If they can’t think of something new, they shouldn’t even bother, EVAR.
And stuff.

You’re talking to the guy who thinks the Battlestar Galactica reboot was one of the greatest TV shows of all time, so yeah, I don’t dimiss reboots out of hand.

Yes … I know. I know this well.
Thus, my comment.
So will little Bobby Brady have the same pearls of wisdom as his father? Can we say…bombs away!
You know the one reboot I would love to see? Battle of the network stars… but it could include cable channels, premium channels, ect… lol, could you see Jon Hamm swimming against oh, I don’t know… Alexander Skarsgard?
Just the other day was thinking of Battle of the Network Stars. It would be so much fun to watch!
Oh, I know, the youngsters that watch TV now don’t know how fun that show was. They have so many terrible reality shows now, I think that if they rebooted Battle of the Network Stars, it would go over really well. However, there wouldn’t be any Mr. Kotter.
Michael: Please. Not an attempt to convince us you are still part of the 18-49 demographic.
